Tournament Practice

The GREX store tournament is coming this 28th Sept and I will be playing. Will probably be bringing my Phantom Mini Swarm - one of the variants. With the PI League in full swing now, I took the opportunity to score some league points and get some practice in with Dale.

1st Game against Dale - managed to win this. The small block had difficulty chasing my Phantom

2nd game - managed to again win with the Phantom

I then swapped out the two Alphas who seemed to die an early death as opponents would definitely target them early game. I am of the opinion that although their extra one attack is good against other types of ships, the swarm's main duty to go gunning for the Millennium Falcons. I changed to this list instead:

3rd Game and I managed to down that YT 

Although I lost the Phantom due to a bad turn, the Ties did their job and removed the YT

4th Game - same results: YT died in 2 passes.

Seems like this could work. It is rock paper scissors Spock with this. Phantoms fear YT's and YT's fear Swarms. I will keep practicing this list.

Played Vick over at BB with the same list.

Managed to beat Vick too. Now I'm getting confident. 

Shipment for Space Hulk arrived! 

Got another game in but this time I lost to a Fat Hann list who had initiative 

Looks like I need more practice against Fat Hann with his PS9 to PS11 ability.
